How We Help - Process Improvement and Information Technology

Are your processes driving or enabling your business?

One of Riverbend's guiding principles is that process and technology enables, but that business needs always drive. Determining the right approach, and amount of process and technology for a small to medium size business in a world in which we are bombarded with options can be a daunting experience. Sometimes, implementing a new process and technology to work efficiently in a given business can become an unexpected and unwelcome challenge. Deploying more efficient processes or the latest technology should be, theoretically at least, a good business decision. But the key is in truly understanding, and objectively measuring, how the technology can help, as well as the real (and often hidden) financial and human costs of implementing it.

Riverbend helps its clients by reviewing current operations and business processes and supporting technologies and advising on changes and efficiencies that increase quality and go directly to improving staff productivity and the bottom line. We also help navigate the uncharted waters of acquiring and implementing new technology, by asking the right questions, and objectively assessing alternatives and their associated costs. Having no direct stake in any new deployment, our only interest is simply in advising the business owner.

Our work helps to ensure that processes and technology bring real value to the enterprise, and keep it positioned for success.
